Events
West Side Main Street sponsors a number of community and retail events throughout the year to familiarize people with what the West Side has to offer. Our events during Festivall attract thousands of people to the area who might not otherwise see the diversity and sense of community that is present on the West Side. Our retail events are designed to permit networking among business owners on the West Side and include our popular Business After Hours hosted by local West Side businesses. Please join us for one of these events and see what the West Side has to offer.

OktoberWest is West Side Main Street's major fundraising event for the year. Funds generated are used for operational support of the program so that all other funds can be put directly back in to projects in the community.
A fun filled celebration of Octoberfest and the beginning of a new season, Bigley Avenue becomes a traditional German beer garden with food and drinks for all. Music is provided by a German band, bratwurst and sauerkraut, hot dogs and potato salad, and all the beer and soft drinks you want are available to participants. Tickets to the event include admission and all the food and drinks. There are games for young and old including barrell rolls, corn hole, dirndl girl races, and pumpkin painting for the kids.
